I just recently picked up working on my boxing game again. I've decided the next thing on the agenda is to rework the boxing gameplay; make it more punch-out-ish. I kinda feel that the boxing in the game as it is is a little frantic and out of control. By adding a wind up to each big punch the player or the CPU can dodge punches and then maybe counter or build up "special dodgy points" or something.

I'm curious what anyone who's played the game thinks about this, or if anyone has any alternate ideas to spruce up the boxing. I'm all ears!
